At Pam Divers, we pride ourselves on our unique location and access to breathtaking dive sites that are rarely visited. We are open and operating during the peak season, which runs from the end of November until the end of April. During this high season, we also have European PADI and SSI instructor to enhance your diving experience. We follow strict safety protocols to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable dive.

Even during the out of season period, qualified divers can still enjoy diving with Pam Divers. We can arrange for daily diving activities with experienced dive buddies who can guide you through the dive sites. Please note that we do not offer diving courses or Discover Scuba Diving programs during this time, but rest assured that you will have a knowledgeable local diver leading the dives and ensuring your safety.

Our diving center is designed to provide a unique, safe, and unforgettable experience. We are currently serving up to 8 divers at a time with their own equipment, or up to 5 divers without equipment. It is important to book ahead to secure your spot, so you can explore our beautiful coral reefs and underwater landscapes with ease. Our experienced instructor and crew are here to ensure your diving experience is exciting, memorable, and above all else, safe. Enquire today to start your diving adventure with Pam Divers! We are expanding continuously but due to the very remote area everything takes time.

ABOUT PAM ISLAND AND HOW TO GET HERE

Pam Islands (sometimes also written as Fam or Faam Islands) are more then 30km away from Sorong, the nearest city with airport.
Our Island can be reached by the Indonesian Ferry Service starting each Friday evening at 8pm from one of Sorong's Harbor (Pelabuhan Rakyat), arriving to Pam Island on Saturday at 8am. It also stops on Batanta Island around 2am for an hour. The ferry leaves Pam Island around 9am on Saturday morning, stopping again on Batanta and reaching Sorong Harbor around 8pm.
This is the cheapest way to reach us. The ticket costs 140.000IDR (8EU).
For this price you get a recliner chair in a air-conditioned room or you can have a bunk bed on the open upper deck area. Better to get there earlier to secure a bed. The ferry is docking there usually from the early afternoon. There are also charging opportunities at the cafeteria.

If you arrive any other day, then you will need to take the ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Only 2 hours trip, cost 140.000 IDR (around 8EU). Ferries start every day at 9am and 2pm from both harbors.
From Waisai you will need to rent a private boat to get you here. The price varies depending on the actual petrol price but you can calculate around 2.500.000IDR (150EU) /boat each way. The boat transfer price can be shared by maximum 6 -7 persons.
Here is a link for a simple site for boat sharing purposes. Just follow the instructions to try to find a shared ride to our Pam Village.  You can also contact us to arrange the transfer for you.

To make your stay more comfortable, it’s important to note that our island has reliable electricity running from 6pm to 6am and a cell tower providing stable Telkomsel service. Telkomsel is the only provider with coverage in this area, so it’s crucial to purchase the correct SIM card upon arrival. We also have some basic little shops. With the homestays providing three meals a day, there's no need to worry about cooking but you can treat yourself to a snack or soft drink after the dives, or pick up some basic supplys and toiletries to make your stay more comfortable.
We are excited to share our island with you and provide a unique diving experience that you'll never forget.
